The Key West Butterfly & Nature Conservatory is open every day of the year. The last admission is at 4:30 p.m., but the attraction does close early for certain holidays. The gift shop and gallery are open a bit longer though, so you have plenty of time to look for the perfect keepsake. What to See
Everywhere you look, there is something beautiful to see as you explore the conservatory. Start your visit at the Learning Center to hear about the butterfly life cycle and interesting facts about these stunning creatures. While here, learn even more about butterflies, like their anatomy and the migration of Monarch butterflies.
One of the most memorable parts of your visit is simply strolling along the grounds filled with flowering plants and trees as hundreds of butterflies and birds fly by. There are roughly 50 to 60 different species of these creatures that call the glass-enclosed habitat home.
